Marketing & Community Development Manager
Linktank seeks a Marketing & Community Development Manager to strategize and create opportunities for growing our network of engaged Washingtonians.

The Marketing and Community Development Manager participates in the management of the Linktank community, identifying opportunities for engagement and driving growth. In addition to having a creative mind, this role also requires a mix of qualitative research, quantitative analysis, and the ability to directly engage members and prospects.
This is currently a part-time or internship position. We’re looking for someone interested in growing in this role and potentially migrating into a full-time position in 2-3 months.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and execute innovative brand strategies and campaigns to drive engagement and user acquisition
- Conduct analysis of key metrics and trends to identify opportunities and problem areas
- Conduct tests and engage users in order to identify gaps and offer strategies that foster growth, retention, and referrals
- Oversee content marketing strategy including social media and SEO
- Write copy for company communications, including internal messaging and public relations
- Evaluate and maintain member acquisition and lifetime estimations
- Oversee customer service issues and improve user satisfaction
- Work with product management team to drive marketing for new front-end features that impact the member's experience
- Work with sales team to identify advertising leads
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong creative mind with the ability to churn out unique and innovative ideas
- Savvy with social media and community engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional technical and non-technical people
- Know-how for overseeing KPIs with the ability to make recommendations

Sales Intern
Linktank seeks a highly-motivated Sales Intern for driving the advertising sales process from lead generation to close.

You’ve really got to love talking to people, looking for new leads, cold calling, networking, and build a winning formula.

Front-End Developer / Designer Intern
Linktank seeks a Front-End Developer/Designer Intern to build a vibrant and engaging user experience.
Our community is made up of people who are "in the know" as experts in their field and want to be connected to the influencers. You will collaborate with the products team to define, design, and integrate a user interface that is intuitive and a delight to experience. You will also maintaining the site and iterating where there are opportunities for improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in all phases of the web application development lifecycle from requirements

Develop and deliver compelling, elegant and easily-navigable website design layouts and user experiences

Assist in building out HTML/CSS templates and design testing

Execute static page designs as standards-compliant, semantic, efficient code using best practices

Design wireframes and prototypes

Branding-driven design on secondary content, social media, messaging, collateral

Perform complete testing of web applications unit and system, engaging users as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

You will immerse yourself in the experiences and opportunities that serve our community and distill that information into a product roadmap. This is your chance to architect a service for one of DC's most powerful networks.
The Product Associate has a track record of taking ownership of specific aspects of the product roadmap. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys working with cross-functional and collaborative teams.
This is currently a part-time or internship position. We’re looking for someone interested in growing in this role and eventually overseeing membership management full-time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
