The core pillars of transitional justice need to be planned and delivered as one mutually reinforcing process. As The Gambia's transition shifts from plans to operational delivery, a key priority is ensuring the Special Prosecutor's Office and Special Tribunal for The Gambia operate alongside reparations, victim engagement and institutional reform as a coordinated, mutually reinforcing ecosystem. Rather than focusing on challenges, this workshop highlights national momentum while addressing practical operational demands.
