Step off campus and spend a morning working alongside some of the valley’s local urban farms. Join us for a hands on volunteer day connecting ASU students, faculty and staff with local growers working to strengthen Arizona’s food system. No farming or gardening experience is needed. Come ready to learn, get a little dirty and lend a hand with real farm projects and seasonal tasks. Depending on the farm and time of year, activities may include preparing beds, planting, harvesting, weeding, composting, irrigation work, general farm maintenance and other projects identified by the grower.
